Sorry I haven't been on the forum lately. I suspect Selvin will understand when I say my school is on 5th year school improvement because of inadequate AYP by one identified subgroup.... despite a 12 percentile overall gain in literacy. The result is that I have to do four hours of paperwork for every hour of real lesson planning.... one of the results of the trainwreck called Every Child Left Behind.

Ahhh...NCLB...don't get me started.

Back to the task at hand. Wonderful image....and a very nice chess set, too!

Although I don't speak the language of school teachers, great photo just the same.

Paul,
The amount of paperwork involved with NCLB was one of the main reasons I decided to call it quits as head of the statewide testing program in Hawaii. Our submission to the Feds to show that we were in compliance filled two Xerox boxes. Worse yet, we didn't please them so they came after us with a vengeance.

Back to photography, Vey nice DOF control.
Aloha
