The winter storm in the northeast last week left us with downed trees, 4 foot drifts, a couple screens blown off windows and no power for several days.
What does winter mean to you? Hot chocolate in front of a warm fire? Great powder skiing? Comfort food? The warm sun on a southern (or Hawaiian) beach? Pond hockey? The flu? Share your interpretations of your winter. |

When I reminded Vanessa that it was her turn to post a challenge, I didn't realize, first of all, that she was located in New England, and second, that she was having some serious problems.
This looks like an interesting challenge. It is easy to answer the questions but not so easy to answer with photos. As you probably know, the weather in the Pacific Northwest is significantly different than the Northeast. I have some ideas for the challenge. One of them is sitting on my front porch...
