New Challenge Feb. 24 - Mar. 9 -- Aerial Boundaries
Look up and what do you see? Point your camera up. Can it see the same thing?

Your challenge for the the next two weeks is to shoot photos of things that are airborne. This includes (but not limited to)
  • Airplanes
  • Helicopters
  • Kites
  • Balloons
  • Gliders
  • Birds
  • Clouds
  • Smoke
  • Model airplanes or Helicopters
  • UFO's ??
  • International Space Station (ISS)
  • Parachute Jumpers
  • Blimps
  • Hang Gliders
  • Flags, banners
In the case of the ISS, you may not be able to photograph any detail but you may be able to catch a sky track as it passes overhead. Depending on the location relative to your city or town, it may be visible up to five minutes during a pass overhead. If you check the NASA website (, and go to the space station page, you will find a link that will help you to find out when the ISS will be visible from your location and for how long. I have seen it several times.

If you are curious about the challenge name, it is taken from a New Age instrumental recorded by Michael Hedges for Windham Hill Records in 1984.

Please put Aerial Boundaries in your challenge description.

Happy shooting.
