Most everyone has taken photos of architecture whether it be buildings, bridges, or other structures. Generally these photos feature the entire structure.

In this challenge, the objective is to move in and show specific features of a building or other structure that make it unique, interesting, or aesthetically pleasing. This can be a modern structure or a historic or period structure.

To show how the feature relates to the overall structure, posting two shots, one of the feature and one of the entire structure. This gives perspective to the closeup shot.

Some examples might be an interesting pattern on a bridge support tower, gargoyles on the top of an older building, a gothic arch surrounding a window or door. Every city has buildings or other structures that are noteworthy. Show us some shots that illustrate why.

Remember to put "Architectural Features" at the beginning of your subject line. Also remember our limit of two postings per day and two photos per posting.
