This challenge requires some portrait photography. It also needs some thought in your composition.

Take a portrait with the subject(s) looking away from the camera.
  1. If the object they are looking at is within view this often creates a focal point for the shot.[/*]
  2. There is a tendency for the viewers to want to know what the subject is looking at. You then have an opportunity to reveal it or keep it hidden. Advantages and disadvantages?[/*]
  3. Keeping it hidden creates a tension that can work to your advantage. But as we noted in 1) above revealing the object could have the advantage of creating a focal point.
Here's an example of the object kept hidden.
