We are entering the Holiday seasonand most people's thoughts turn to food. In recognition of this fact this challenge is simply, "food."

Give your best shot of something edible. Basically, I would like to see food in any shape or form. Cooked, uncooked, vegetable, meat derivative, fruits, cereal, grain, restaurant fare, home cooked, you get the idea.

I would prefer to see food that is regional or culturally unique.

Remember: 2 posts per day, 2 photos per post is the limit.
Please putFood in your subject line.

Let's see what in our area or what you've got cooking at home.

Here are a couple of shots to get us started. The first is a carnivore's delight at a local hotel (Hoku's, Kahala Mandarin) and the second a local favorite, ox-tail soup at a local bowling alley.

I won't delete it. Just remember to post new photos in a message in the forum. I have just sent private messages to three people on this same subject.

The reason for not posting here is that once someone reads the challenge, it is not likely that they will come back and read it again.
