Went through Little Rock today and HAD to stop and take a photo of Old Glory flying in front of the Arkansas state Capitol building flanked by two Arkansas flags
![]() Sorry there's no beautiful blue sky to frame the dome, but the weather didn't cooperate; it was a solid white haze that has since yielded to a line of thunderstorms. For those who see echoes of the U.S. Capital building, the Arkansas Capitol is a 1/3 representation of the national building....looking enough like it to "double" for the Capitol building in Washington in several movies. In this shot, Old Glory flies on the room of the Senate chamber to the left, while the Arkansas flag is over the lower house chamber on the right. ![]() |
