Yes, Portland, Oregon has a World Trade Center. Although it is not as large as the one in New York City it serves a similar purpose. It consists of four modern buildings with some unique architecture. This shot was taken in the courtyard at the main entrance to the complex.

At first I thought old glory was repeated but on closer inspection the foreground flag is different. Is that an older version of old glory or some newly minted nation? Aloha |

I think Bill may be right. I zoomed in on the blue field of the flag and it contains a single large star and a crescent moon.

That is definately the flag of Malaysia. The thirteen stripes represent the thirteen states.....confused, happy, sad, paranoid, dazed, overwhelmed, exhuberant, etc. While similar to the American flag which has a star shining for each state the Malaysian flag is represented by moon shine. I dont know what else to say that that my lame sense of humor wont get me into trouble.
