In his poem, "Elegy written in a Country Churchyard", Thomas Gray delivered some of the most succinct lines to describe the plight of those no longer with us:

The boast of heraldry, the pomp of pow'r,
And all that beauty, all that wealth e'er gave,
Awaits alike th'inevitable hour.
The paths of glory lead but to the grave.

- Thomas Gray

Whether you are for or against the rationale, the inevitable hour waits for us all.

Well captured. Respect or protest....always in the eye of the beholder.
