Today the thunderstorm started before I headed out to shoot, so I'll post a couple of more pairs from yesterday's outing at the botanical garden. Paths over bridges are always inviting

Very nice shot, Paul. It seems unusual to me to see a stone deck with wood railings. Around here, there are stone bridges but the entire structure, deck and railing, is constructed of stone.

Very nice again, Paul. I think I like the first one best.

Paul,
Agree with Patty, the first shot is perceptually better, perhaps because it appears to be "natural" while the second encompasses a manmade stone setting. Just rambling on. Aloha |

Very nice, makes me want to walk down the path to see what lies ahead.

Love the first shot. It think it is the metal railings that does the second in a bit. Wood and stone are both natural and kind of go together but that wrought iron railing just seems a bit out of place. I also think the ground and wood being wet in the first photo helps them blend together in a more subtle way.

Very nice contrast...the stone and woodwork and the deep green foliage.
