It was cool and breezy this afternoon in Arkanasas, but what might be the last sunny Sunday brought a good crowd to the Little Rock zoo. One of the featured attractions is an antique carousel, painstakingly restored and brought back to life for the kids.

It's always a delight for the kids when one of the giraffes decides to check out the people.
(the next shot would have been better when the giraffe got much closer, but she, unfortunately blocked out the kids) Paul |

Carousel rides are a joy for just about all kids. On the first ride they may be hesitant but after that it's like ducks to water. Thanks for shring. |

I love carousels, not to ride, but to look at and photograph. I like the music from the old band organs, also. Not to many of those left. Now, most carousels use recorded music.
In the second shot, it looks like the Giraffe is having more fun than the gentleman leaning on the fence! Interesting composition. Cal |
