Well, possibly , relatively speaking, but actually it's a photographer who's gone out to play, and it's me.

Playtime for me is an occasional and largely solitary occupation, out and about with my camera on the odd nice day. So this is the best I can think of for the moment within the challenge period, taken on Friday, 3.15pm (getting late) on a rare sunny afternoon in our current weather patterns.

This is the abandoned church in the nearby hamlet of Harthill, across the road from the primary school attended by bothour children, which closed this year.

The principal objective that afternoon was the autumn colours, and some of these should surface soon in the 'Landscape photos' forum.

Interesting perspective. I would not have thought about using shadows to convey the challenge's theme.

Very nice photo. I like it. The contrasts and colors are great.
