Very nice, and it brings back memories.
As a teenager camping there with my parents, we witnessed a traditionally dressed Navajo family herding a flock of sheep down a trail from the rim. They were dressed up in their colorful silks and cotton clothes with the grandmother leading the way with a lantern, the mother and children tending the sheep and the father in the back on his horse. I wish I had a camera back then. |

Hey Bynx, although I have not posted in a while, I just got back from a trip to AZ (Sedona, Monument Valley (return trip), and Canyon De Chelly. Amazing places to visit. I had the wrong lens on when I went to Spider Rock but used my phone. Will post some when I get the chance. Thanks for the pics!

Bynx,
I agree about the lack of clarity the posted shot looks as if it was taken with California smog blanketing the whole area. The vista is right on... |

Did you apply a sharpening tool after resizing. I find that a simple sharpen does wonders in this case.

I do all my processing on the hi res image. Then after saving it I reduce the size from 300 dpi to 72 dpi @ 25% if horizontal image and 18% if vertical image. Something is definately getting changed between my computer and the site. Check the image here against the same lo res image on my flickr page..... www.flicker.com/photos/paul-mitchell
