I saw the the Germain officers at a WW2 weekend but as there were a lot of people around never got a good shot. When i went to London a couple of weeks later the bad weather followed and i only got a few shots the background being one of them. So put the two together hope you like

It's a great photo. However, I see a problem with "perspective?" You've done a great job of layering the two photos but it looks layered. Either the two gentlemen are very tall and standing in the Thames river or they are standing on a boat. In the latter case, some of the boat should be showing. It actually looks like the gentlemen are standing in front of a backdrop or mural.
Now, since this is a "free-for-all" challenge with "no holds barred", my nit picking doesn't mean a thing!! LOL! One last point or question--These two gentlemen are on opposite sides of the war, how come they haven't killed each other. OK! I'm out of here before someone kills me! Have a good weekend, everyone. If the Battle of Britain had gone the other way, this photo would have been closer than reality than most of us would have liked.
I think the difference in the lighting between the subjects and the Parliament is the main reason for them appearing to be in front of a mural. |
