I agree. Great shot! I might use a little more yellow than Bynx, but his color is an improvement.

Well this is a great first entry! I love the feeling it conveys.
The color correction done by Bynx also finishes the shot. Well done. Zig

Great shot for a first entry. Got to put in my $.02, I like your pic better than the color corrected one by Bynx. Yours does need to tone down the yellows a little but bynx's pic lost all of the "warmth" of the pic and made the colors look too cool. Again, just my opinion.

Thanks. I went back to playing with the picture and feel the same as tika. My original intent was trying to make it have a "story book" feel but I did like what Bynx did. So I have been playing with it incessantly. Somewhere in the middle I think will be what I am after.
Thanks again for the comments. |

That's the neat thing about posting a picture and seeing what someone else makes of it. Often the edit will get you thinking in a slightly different direction or give you some ideas you hadn't thought about and then you can put your own, new, interpretation to the photo. That way you end up with the best possible picture for you.
I think the composition of this picture is outstanding. I'm on a lousy work computer so don't know which set of colors is most pleasing to me personally. I should NOT look at photos on this monitor - it's always way off. But it's just too much fun to spend lunch looking at others work so I keep doing it. |

Love this shot, excellent composition! I thought this was a great candidate for b/w.
