I do like that first shot. It looks like a scanned print to me.
And also, that right angled lens... They can't be too hard to make. I might have a go. ![]() |

I must be getting senile in my old age (62). I can't believe how many times I've forgot to hit "send"....
Anyway, to try again, is that right-angle lens available in different ring sizes? Also, does it produce a mirror (reversed) image or does it use a prism arrangement to preserve the image orientation? Cal (OK...Now I hit the send button...right?) |

This seems like deja vu Calr. The RA lens is just a screw on like a filter. Its ot heavy since no lenses are involved just thin surface coated mirror. I believe its one size fits all. Just get the appropriate step up ring to fit. your lens to the threads. And yes it produces a mirror image so you should flip horizontally for correct viewing.
You cant trust anybody. Even I lie. I checked this out on the internet. This should answer all your questions. http://www.camerafilters.com/pages/r...glelenses.aspx |

A few minutes after posting this question, I discovered that I had post the question in response to another of your postings. Now I'm really losing it!! I'll check out the link you posted. Thanks. Cal |

I just realised. These will be a right pain with lenses who rotate when they focus. IE, all of mine bar my old Minolta SRT's!

No problem at all ferny. You hold the barrel of the fake lens and your lens will rotate with no effect. The RA lens is free rotating so you can shoot in any right angle direction.
