Wow, I love the way you captured her eyes, they just rivit you to the face.
Good shot. |

Beautiful!
She seems a bit "overdressed" to say so ![]() As for the portrait itself - to my mind it looks a bit flat (maybe due to the flashlight you used, at least it looks that way). I'd try for some postprocessing to give some more "3D-depth" (or whatever one would call this). A first quick attempt resulted in this one here, I just tried to see what's possible... histogram works and some layer works is very rewarding with that photo. The only problem is that at some point the freckles show up too much  ![]() Thanks for sharing! |

Hi Walter,
Yes indeed, she has amazing rivitting (the best word!) eyes. And a pure / innocent yet natural look. While technically this photo could perhaps be improved a bit (e.g. background, flash on face a little too harsh).... yet this is still a great capture. It looks like she is ready to go out to a leaver's dinner (the end of school function... that's what we call "leaver's dinner" here in Australia) - with a rather eloquent dress. Do you have a full shot, because yes, I'm intrigued about her dress too. Regards Paul |

All of a sudden the "innocent" looks is taken away by the black wings!! :O
Interesting costume, though I'm not a halloween fan. Thanks for your prompt reply, Walter!! Paul |

AH! Thank you - these are straps to fasten the wings... that explains it. Darnit... who would have guessed that!
Wonderful shot - and in the full one the flash doesn't hurt the face that much as in the cropped version - and it enhances the detailsof the dress. Well done and thanks for the quick reply. (Btw. sorry for me being picky about the flash... I rarely use flash by myself since I like the "available light" feeling better and thus I get always something to grump when I see flash photos /blush) Th. |

I can't add anything that hasn't already been said. Great shots.
