thanks. it was taken a while after the red hearts. the sun peeked out for just a little bit, before setting. must be that last blast just bfore heading over the horizon.

Wow! Nice composition. I love the contrast between the cube and the rest of the image. The area just to the right of the cube is blown out a bit. A split neutral density filter might have helped here, however, not sure what it would do to the overall contrast of the image.

Looks like a lot of Johnny-on-the-Spots waiting for customers. As mugmar says the shadows add that nice touch and help eliminate the small size factor and make them look 'normal' size.

it's a p&s camera and at this time i feel no need for a filter. just see what flies ut of the thing. yeah, i can see what you mean, about the blown out section. i gotta work on that.
