Bynx, your observation and edit are spot on, as always. Perfect for this challenge, though in real life that shade may be a bit too 'The Shining elevator scene' to live with in my front room. ![]() |

I tend to agree. in real life reds, we are rarely given #FF0000 (a little hex joke there). The edit feels a bit too forced/oversaturated, as evidenced by the artifacts. I'll take a muddy, natural red over a hyperreal red any day.

It was certainly not my intention to show any realism in the color. I was trying to point out with a little humor the red was more brown than red and I exaggerated that point.
