Golden Rod with a Bee harvesting some pollen. The Golden Rods were in bloom for only a few weeks.

Colors are good but on my screen the shots seem a tad out of focus.

Nice shots. The depth of field is a bit shallow the the center is in focus on my screen and using my calibrated eyeballs. Wait a minute...my eyeballs haven't been recalibrated for about three years! No wonder I can't see!

I am surprised that there are still flowers blooming at this time of year (Northern Hemisphere).

Actually, here in Alabama we still have several wild flowers blooming.
