Default Seeing Red - Sun

I'm not sure if this if exactly following the theme this time, but it sure looked more red when I was taking the picture this morning. I'm seeing a lot more shades of orange and purple now...but there is still red at the heart of it.

This was at 7:01 this morning overlooking a field of newly sprouting soybeans. About 5 minutes later the sun slipped up behind the clouds only to be replaced by shades of gray and a steady rain.

This is a beautiful shot but not quite what I am looking for. It is impossible for me to know what the actual colors looked like therefore it is difficult to know if the camera recorded them correctly. You tell me!

Has a point. Without some other referent its tough to make a judgment about the accuracy of the redness.
However, lovely sunrise.

To me, sunrises and sunsets are mostly orange, not red red. One can make them look red through PP'ing but that certainly wasn't the case here.
