My contribution here...
![]() (Not a nice job (you have to squint your eyes to belive it...) separating the car, but it was a very cramped parking-lot!) ... Last edited by Walter_S; Oct 22, 2009 at 5:22 AM. |

58 the fins really went away on the Chevys. They kind of flattened out to the sides. Seen American Graffiti? The white car in that movie is a 58.
I'm a gear-head at heart too. |

There are several things about this rendering that bother me. First of all, it looks like the car is full of water. Now I admit that is one way to clean a car but it would work better on one of the original VW Beetles. They are nearly watertight with the doors and windows closed.
The background really bothers me. Did you put some things together to create that background or is that real. If it is real, could you please show us the original photo. Cal |

Well, calr - I did apologize initially ("Not a nice job (you have to squint your eyes to belive it...) separating the car, but it was a very cramped parking-lot!)")
It was an HDR-rendering where I tried to separate the car from the background and never got finnished with the job - I lost heart. And, as I said - not a nice job! #1 = Original HDR and #2 the halve-finnished separation-job, while #3 is one of the single-shots: ....See? |
