Here is my last effort for this challenge. It won't be my last selective color subject because I have become addicted to this technique.
This is one of my tarantulas happily munching on a cricket. She is just a kid at 6 yrs old. She is about 6 inches in length and as you can see quite pretty, if you like big spiders. Which I obviously do. ![]() Last edited by smac; Jan 31, 2014 at 11:55 PM. |

Those are the natural colors. Though the flash does tend to bring them out a little more than just the natural light. She's quite the looking in any case.

I've never been fond of Tarantulas or any other spider but I have to admit this one has nice color. Nicely presented.
