The name speaks for itself. I am not sure about the first treatment. There's is something about it. Maybe the bird just stands out too much? It looks great in color and maybe it should stay that way. Thoughts?

This second shot of a Peregrine falcon is one of my favorite action shots of a Peregrine. I actually cropped out the branches below and it makes a dynamite portrait.

I can best appreciate the colorful plumage when it is surrounded by the grey. I like the shot as is. Im sure the all color shot would be better but thats not the point. This looks good.

Hey, thanks to you both. I really respect your skills as photographers and your criticisms and comments. Sometimes I think we get too close to our subjects and tend to lose our objectivity. I appreciate your perspectives.
