I've shot this bridge at the botanical gardens several times before, but shot it yesterday with this challenge in mind.

Pentax K20d, Pentax DA 50mm.....1/1000 @ f/2.2, ISO 200

My issue with this one is that I can't really tell what's in focus in the second picture. That being said....that looks like a beautiful place.

The vertical strip of trees on the right, with blue sky, is pretty sharp, and the ground below it, beneath the bridge.

It looks possible that with infinity focus, there's sufficient light getting through the edges of this big lens with its wide aperture to see right roundand through the bars closest to the camera.

Were these shots in register, Paul? If so, it's like magic, and it's brilliant even if not.
