I took these pictures one morning as I was going to work. To this day I regret having sold my Oly E510 and all my Zuiko lenses.

Beautiful! All are unique but capture the beauty and serenity of the morning sky.

Thanks, Cal and Selvin.
Cal, that's not Emerald Bay. That's an area very close to my office in Redwood Shores (the Bay side of Redwood City). There is a salt industry there so they flood the area with SF Bay water at night and in the morning after the water reseeds, they extract the salt. That little lump on the first shot is actually a pile of salt. The third shot is just a variation of the same area. The second shot is from the other side of the buildings, overlooking the SF Bay.

Oops! I posted my question to the wrong post. It was the Tahoe post where I should have posted. Anyway, I just looked and my question was answered by Walter.

A lovely scene, and thanks for the explanation. I would have never guessed that this was a salt extraction area.
