I was camping a few days ago. The camping area had a human population density much greater than the small town I live near. Never the less, this owl lived near by and frequently flew through the camping area.
Canon 5d 400 mmf5.6 ISO 1600 with flash, taken about 25 feet from subject. ![]() |

This is indeed a nice photo of a bird in an interesting pose. It also has quite a shallow depth of field, as the branches behind the owl are already are out of focus. Great capture!! Paul |
