Took this with a P&S camera back when I was living in Texas.

Mind you, I notice that these forums and all dSLR owners regard anything digital that isn't a dSLR as a P&S. Even in my film SLR days, I almost never just pointed and shot, and I certainly don't now, unless desperate, and I've never relied on the camera software in any of my digicams. With my cheapo little superzoom hybrid, I don't point & shoot because I first adjust the exposure by eye in my live preview EVF before I shoot. OK, I don't have the pixels and superb image quality, but it's about time dSLRs caught up with that feature! |

Nice job, Walter.
Alan, I just saw an advertisement in Shutterbug (July 08 issue) for a DSLR with a tilting LCD screen and LCD preview through the lens. Unfortunately, I don't recall the manufacturer. It may have been Olympus. I'll see if I can find it again. Cal |

What's wrong in my view with live preview on a screenas opposed toan Electronic ViewFinder is that you can't easily see it in daylight. Sorry about dragging you off-topic. |
