I love the Tetons. I used to live about 70 miles beyond those peaks in Idaho Falls.

Outstanding shot. I am trying my darndest to remember the name of that lake but I guess I'm going to have to dig out the map! I just checked my aeronautical chart of the area and am reasonably certain that's Jackson Lake. There are a couple smaller lakes but I don't think you could get that perspective from either.

Thanks for the compliment Cal, We had such a great trip to Yellowstone and the Tetons, we did not want to come home!!The landscapes and wildlife are just overwhelming for suburbanites like us!! (Just for the record, this shot was taken by Mar)

You are correct, it is Jackson Lake, just after you enter the park from the north.
