Is that the moon or a set up shot to look like the moon. Without some lunar texture and shading the pic looks more like a view through a microscope of a trans bilateral asteriskoposcy culture. Either way not bad. And welcome.

What the heck does that mean? To me it looks like a night shot with shallow depth of field. The moon is totally out of focus so no details are visible. The tree branch is not totally in focus but that could be because of the bright, overpowering background. I have noticed the same effect when shooting a sunrise through trees. The brightness of the sun makes the trees appear out of focus. Cal |
