This tune kept going around in my head as I was driving here and for quite some time after, until I blew it away with some rockin' blues by SRV.

My first thought was Ferryman, Ferryman by our Stompin Tom Connors. But then Dont Pay the Ferryman by Chris de Burgh. Or was that Dont Pay the Ferryman by one cheap scotsman? hehehehe
Oh oh. If thats a lady driving that car....how about "Lady in Red" |

If that isn't the Mersey River (and from the landscape, it ain't) it probably isn't "Ferry 'cross tha Mersey", so I'll guess with Bynx the Cris de Burgh tune.
brian (does that date me, or what?) |

Bynx, those are darn good guesses, but not the song that was floating around my head. This is a free ferry so Don't Pay The ferry Man would be very fitting and something I hadn't considered. But that ain't it.....
It was 1962.....Mercy, Mersey me, that was a lifetime ago. |

VT, wow we posted one minute apart. Ferry Cross the Mersey was in fact the tune. I do remember it, now who is dating themselves.
