OK this one may be quite abstract, albeit not the greatest photos ever. But I often think of this song when I'm working nights right across the street from this rather large parking ramp. I think I will need to give a hint to get you started in the right direction. The song is by a British group that was at the peak of their popularity from 1970 -1975. So here are the photos to get you started...
The photos by the way are taken of one of the MSP (Minneapolis St. Paul) airport parking ramps. |

"Big Yellow Taxi" by Counting Crows. "They paved paradise, they put up a parking lot."

How about "Airport" by the Motors.
By the way guys, I think the photo is supposed to describe the Title of the song, not a line from the lyrics. And also Counting Crows is an American group who had their debut album in 1994 so doesnt meet the hints given. Last edited by Bynx; Aug 28, 2009 at 9:46 AM. |

Hey youre right Walter. I had the tune going in my head trying to link it to the Crows, but after mentioning Joni Mitchell, now it all comes back and its older than I thought. In fact she wrote the song. Boy, that was a few lifetimes ago for me.

Boy, I've seen some good suggestions, but not the one I was thinking of yet, I think it's time for another hint. Think of all that goes on running a parking ramp, the ticket booth where you pull the ticket when you drive in, the automated gates that open and close each level when they get full, the toll booth where you pay when you leave. It's almost as if the parking ramp is in itself a giant machine.

Still no more guesses, OK time for another hint. This is a song from an album titled "Wish You Were Here", the cover art had two people on it, one was on fire. If you Google the album title, the correct song should be fairly obvious.
