I took this shot several years ago because of the striking symmetry it presented. I have been playing with different crops and I like this one. It reminds me of a Bev Doolittle painting as there are all sorts of hidden shapes in the leaves. From a distance the overall shot reminds me of a forest spirit or alien looking toward the sky. Top center I see a turtle, below that a leopard or some other big cat. See what you can find.

This image needs to be flipped...but my laptop flipped just fine. The fall colors are beautiful here. It just screams autumn.

This shot is like a Rorschach Ink Blot Test. I actually see the Lord Sith in the design. maybe I'm hallucinating.
Very attractive bi-lateral symmetry in a natural setting. Aloha |
