Caught this little guy trespassing in my backyard at night. He's sitting on top of over a foot of snow. Shot through my porch glass door.

This is an extremely difficult shot for lighting. I think I would have increased the exposure and tweaked the white balance. An alternative to the latter would be to adjust the overall color balance in your editor.

You indicated that you caught him "at night". Curious as to what your settings were to take the night shot and have it come out like that. Aloha |

Here are my settings:
I set the ISO to 1600 and used AE Program mode (1/6 sec, F2.8). Shot in JPEG+RAW. I had auto WB set on the camera. Per Calr's suggestion, I tweaked the white balance of the RAW image with Canon's Digital Photo Professional and applied a picture style of "faithful". |
