This is this morning's delicate dawnthrough our back door.

You can see our new back garden bird table, purchased at Christmas. The birds take no interest in it, unlike the decaying front garden seen in other shots. it has side bars to keep large birds out, but not even the tiny ones use it.

It was just as light last night at midnight, with unbelievably bright moonlight on the snow.

Notbrilliant quality (!), but I like the painting-like look. 1/2s, f/2.8, ISO 3200, , width cropped, resized and sharpened. Hand-held - too tired to get the tripod out.

The first shot is great. I love the colors and composition.

The second shot has a great deal of noise which detracts significantly from the quality.
