Nice one. I did not even think of a parking meterThey are great for letting you know how long until you get that parking ticket!!

Well, assuming it just expired, and the officer checks it regularly every 30 minutes, and the officer checked it just before it expired, you've probably got 29 minutes of grace time before you get a ticket.

Excellent shot. In Portland, they are eliminating individual meters. Instead, there is a ticket machine in each block. You park your car, go get a ticket whick is only good in that block, and put the ticket in your dashboard--just like a parking lot.
