This sculpture was erected in 1923. It is positioned to look out over Gloucester Harbor - Massachusetts. One of the more famous sculptures in the region it is a memorial to all the Gloucester fishermen who lost their lives at sea.

I llike it. I think I've seen replicas of that statue over on the Oregon coast. If not replicas, a very close likeness. Great shot.
