Took this last year in Malaysia. Amazing building espacially at night. Shame you can only go half way up and only during the day-Petronis towers.

Thats one of the nicest shots Ive seen of the Towers. As for the part about only being able to go up halfway and only during the day -- is that because the building is an office? How do they limit access to the top? Special elevators? I have an expiring mind and these are questions Im asking.

It's a good thing the challenge is not a competition because I think we have the winner.

Thanks everyone for your positve comments.

The towers were built by the Petronas (correct spelling) I think petroleum company. They occupy one tower and the other tower is used by other big name companies. There is only one lift (I think) that takes you to the bridge which spans the two towers. You need to line up on the day, early morning, to obtain your free ticket and your time allocation which could be at any time of the day. There are only a certain number of tickets they release each day too. We waited over two hours to get ours. When you finally reach the bridge you have about ten minutes to take a few snaps and look at the veiw then you are shuffled down again. It was a lot of effort for a short stint but hey, its one of those things you have to do. We then found out that there was a better veiw from the KL tower so here is a shot from there. |
