I did some climbing today with my camera at the local playground. I made sure my camera's wrist strap was well attached to my wrist.

Gulp! I can almost feel my normally wobbly feet wobbling more on those ropes. After such serious training of our photographic 'troops', I look forward to some skydiving shots.

Reminds me of a pub lunch a year ago where I sat alone with my pint outside in the sunny garden next to the climbing frame. A father, small child and large dog arrived. He disappeared to order their meal & drinks, cheerily saying "Just keep on eye on them, won't you?" Clearly I'm not as threatening as I think I look. Turned out he was an ex-rock-climber, who took such things for granted.
