I am guessing either a marble or a fishing float. In any case, the way you have used your smoke and mirrors on it, it makes a beautiful shot.

My son has a night light. Its the solid glass ball you see which has a bunch of bubbles in it. There is a flattened portion so it sits on a window under which are colored LED lites. You can make the lites in different patterns and colors. I just used the globe and had some warm christmas tree lights behind it. I shot it once then just repeated the shot until it is as you see it.

Hi Bynx
You never cease to amaze us with your imaginative, original pieces of art and beauty captured well by your camera. Thanks... it looks very much like something I could imagine would look good as coasters (the things you put your cups / mugs on... rather than on the table top). I'm just giving the definition coz I don't know if "coasters" is a universally recognised (English) word. Very WARM!!! Paul |

Coasters are the same everywhere I think. Although we also have coaster rides. While this globe has a bit of a flat surface it is just enough to keep it from rolling around. It is essentially a solid glass ball which has many bubbles embedded in it. Quite unsuitable for trying put anythng on it.
