Hi, Bynx. I really don't care for the first shot. It is obviously a bird but the head-on shot with the bright orange background make it difficult to tell what kind of bird it it. Your second shot is great. I like the way the robin is "peeking" from behind the tree trunk.

The side shot is pretty common type of shot. But the head on shot is rather unusual. By the time the bird is looking at you like that its well on its way skyward. Unless you are a worm of course.

I was about 4 feet away Alan. I was hiding behind some paper stuck on the glass wall with a hole for shooting through. All the bird pics are never cropped.

I think the expression on the first shot is priceless. I wouldn't want to be a worm. I also love the side view of the robin. What a great idea of shooting through a shield. The birds at my feeder are always flying away as soon as they see me.
