Thought the blowing sand in the high winds was interesting. Another type of weather shot, about the only one I have of this. Taken January 2011 in Death Valley.

Nice! Love the combo of lighting, time of day, POV, the dust and that you didn't use PP to make anything pop. I played around with some cropping. Found I liked this better by removing about 80% of the foreground then taking a little off the top until the foreground and sky stopped competing with the dust and mountains. I'm not saying they're a distraction, far from it, they're integral elements.

Beautiful composition. Just the right amount of sky, mountain, blowing sand and road.

very nice - I drove through a dust storm out in the middle of the painted desert between page, az and the grand canyon. It was very surreal.

Blowing dust and sand is always interesting, but not always easy to photograph. The first one I was ever in, it was so dark I thought it was foggy at first. It ended up sand-blasting some of the paint off the car I was driving. This one was not anything like that, so was much easier to photograph.

Sure looks like the road to nowhere... or somewhere Thelma and Louise would drive. Great composition
