The Pittock Mansion is located just a couple miles west of Portland, Oregon. It was originally, back in the day, the residence of the creator of Portland's daily newspaper, The Oregonian. The building is now used as a historic museum.
These shots were both taken on a foggy day, obviously. The first shot shows the mansion. The second is on the grounds to the east of the building. ![]() ![]() Cal |

I'm one who likes fog pictures and I like both of these. The first one makes me think of scary movies, I expect to find a murdered person in the hall, with all the doors and windows locked from the inside.
But I prefer the second one, there's always something about bare trees and fog, it reduces them to interesting shapes. |
