Somethings take more then others. But like most things that people do as a hobby you can't do this and be thinking of your problems.

Slacklining is a subset of tightrope or wire walking. A tightrope is extremely tight and rigid usually with side ropes on the main rope to keep it from moving. There is next to no movement side to side or up and down. Slacklining they use a strap and something to tighten it like a ratchet. This means the strap can move quite a bit. The person walking has to move there feet to keep the strap under them. They can also bounce and do tricks. It is like walking on a 1 inch wide trampoline they tell me. If the line is long enough the walker has time there steps to compensate for the return of the vibration from the last step the the next step. With wider straps they can even do stunts. I thought is was interesting because of the expressions on there faces. When they would loose there concentration from looking at me taking there photos and trying not smile they would fall off. :)

Here is a photo from the side.
