I echo the thoughts already expressed. A beautiful scene, indeed.

Hi all,
Very much appreciate all the kind comments. ![]() ![]() ![]() Saly, This is one of those photos where I actually had a lucid moment and planned on how to capture this image. My wife and I were enjoying the evening with a glass of our favorite beverage on the end of a pier in Old Marco with a number of our friends. The vivid colors of the sky and setting sun were really pretty amazing and of course, I had my camera with me. I was changing the settings on the camera when, from a distance, I spied the lone pelican flying our way. I could tell that the path of the pelican was going to go right past us and by the sun. So, I positioned myself a little bit more to the left side of the pier, away from any obstructions or people and waited for him to fly by. And it happened just as you see it. Can't wait to get there again this coming March. ![]() Zig
