Default Wind--Breaking the rules

Hi everyone. These are from this summer (not during this challenge period), so I am breaking the rules. Feel free to moderate me into oblivion, if necessary.
I chose these two shots because they show two sides (good and bad) of wind. I am fairly new to photography, but I am learning quickly that it can be your best friend, or your worst enemy.
I love the first because of the way the light breeze caught her hair up into the sunlight (she had just gotten done swimming at the lake).
The second is of the same girl when I was trying to do a nice portrait. Everything was perfect that day......except the wind. There was nothing I could do about it.

Great shots. This reminds me of the "Hurricane Simulator" they have at the local mall. It is a small booth that one or two people step into and experience about 30 seconds of 50 mph winds blowing up from the bottom. It can be hilarious if they are not hanging on to loose clothing.

(BTW, I can't moderate you into oblivion. I don't know how!)

IMHO I like them both, they show the essence of the moment. The wind was blowing and you caught it very well.

Hmm I got completely the wrong idea from the thread title and thought it was a guide to flatulence.

Lovely effect of the wind in your hair. Nope we don't obliterate into oblivion for the occasional archival shot. See guidelines.

Thanks for submitting and Welcom!
