Now there is a good supply of the perfect murder weapon! Stab someone with one of those big ice "swords" and after the ice melts, no trace of the weapon! For the same reason, you probably don't want to walk under those beasts! If one falls and you are under it, you may be the perfect victim!

Have never experienced cold like that, but would love to see and feel it one day. Only 36 deg cel. here today.

I hope you took care of those ...in a careful, non-murderous manner... after you took the picture and didnt end up mopping up water inside.
As beautiful as they are, those of us who live in the north know the damage they can do. |

Calr,
Funny you should hypothesize the use of these for murder. An old Charley Chan movie I saw used frozen ice as a weapon in one of the plots (as a bullet I think). Good old Charley wasn't fooled of course. I think the Myth Busters may have tried to show that it wasn't possible. |

Those do look quite lethal, I sure wouldn't want to walk under them. We get icicles on occasion, but never quite like that!
