A street in Atlanta, where he played for the Braves, was named for the great Hank Aaron. Hank was one of the first (Jackie Robinson was first) to break baseball's color barrier. He later went on to break Babe Ruth's home run record. A true role model.

Nice shot, Walter. It is good to see a name I recognize on a street sign. Since I have lived in the Portland Metro area, I have seen several major streets renamed for people I've never heard of. First street in downtown Portland was renamed Naito Parkway about ten years ago. I still don't know who Naito is/was!

... And his hat size didn't grow about 10 sizes in the process, like someone who is on the verge of breaking Aaron's record.

Cal, is this who it is named after? http://www.billnaito.com/
