I like the first shot the best. It has a quiet and serene feeling about it. In the second shot, if I didn't know those were grave markers, it is not obvious what they are. Also, without knowing the significance of the house, in that shot, it looks like any other house and I would have difficulty knowing what I am looking at.

Cal, I agree with you that the second shot probably doesn't stand on it's own, but it does place the first shot in context. Also, I just think it's cool that the house that our 12th President grew up in is still there. There aren't many structures in Louisville from the 1700's. There are tons from the mid 1800's but not so many older ones.
