To take this picture I laid on my back and did a half crunch. Talk about a killer on the ab muscles. :-)

That's a great shot, Alphie. That's exactly the kind of thing I am looking for. You have a beautiful view of the building the most people never see. Good work!

Believe it or not, you can do this with a tripod. Just don't extend the legs and if possible fold the legs out flat. I think only the more expensive tripods such as Manfroto do that.
